Installation
Air conditioning installation
A good installation is mostly decided before the tools come out. We plan unit positions, pipe routes, drainage, electrical supply and access so the system performs and is easy to service later.

What is air conditioning installation?
Supplying and installing a new system — or replacing an old one — sized and positioned for the way the home or premises is actually used, then commissioned and handed over with clear instructions.
Who it suits
Homeowners, landlords and new builds, plus offices, shops, hospitality venues and workshops needing new or replacement air conditioning.
Systems we install
- Split systems for single rooms and open-plan areas.
- Multi-split systems — several indoor units on one outdoor unit.
- Ducted reverse-cycle systems with zoning.
- Reverse-cycle heating and cooling.
- Replacement of ageing, inefficient or failed systems.
- Residential and commercial installations.
When should a system be replaced?
When it struggles in hot weather, needs frequent repairs, runs an obsolete refrigerant or is simply too small for the space. We give straight repair-or-replace advice.
What we consider before installing
- Equipment selection and sizing — room size, orientation, insulation, glazing and use.
- Indoor and outdoor unit location, clearances, noise and appearance.
- Pipe-run length and route, wall penetrations and condensate drainage.
- Electrical requirements — switchboard capacity and a dedicated circuit.
- Installation planning — access, strata, landlord or council requirements.
Commissioning
Pipework is pressure tested and evacuated before the system is charged and commissioned. We check operating pressures, temperatures and drainage, then show you how to use the controller and maintain filters.
Can you service an existing system?
Yes — we service and repair most mainstream brands, including systems we didn't install.

Frequently asked questions
What size air conditioner do I need?
+
Capacity depends on more than floor area. We look at room volume, ceiling height, insulation, glazing and window orientation, how many people use the space and when, and whether the room opens into other areas. A west-facing living area with large windows in Baldivis can need noticeably more capacity than a shaded room of the same size. We size from a site assessment rather than a square-metre rule of thumb.
Who carries out licensed electrical and refrigerant work?
+
Regulated installation and service work is undertaken by appropriately licensed trades. Licensed technicians and specialist trade contractors are used where required for electrical and refrigerant-handling work.
