Ducted systems
Ducted air conditioning
Ducted air conditioning conditions the whole home through ceiling outlets connected to a concealed indoor unit in the roof space. Done well, it is quiet, discreet and controllable room by room.

When ducted suits
- Whole-of-home comfort with a single, consistent control point.
- New builds and major renovations where duct runs can be planned early.
- Homes with adequate roof-space height and access for the indoor unit.
- Owners who prefer minimal visible equipment in living spaces.
Design matters more than brand
Most poor ducted outcomes come from design, not equipment: undersized return air, long or kinked duct runs, poorly placed outlets and zones that don't match how the house is used. We lay out supply and return positions, duct sizing and zone groupings before quoting.
Zoning and controls
Zoning lets you condition living areas by day and bedrooms by night without running the whole system. Options range from simple on/off zones to individually temperature-controlled zones with Wi-Fi control.
Replacement considerations
Replacing an older ducted unit can sometimes reuse sound ductwork; perished or poorly insulated duct is better replaced at the same time. We inspect the existing ductwork and report honestly on condition.
How the quote process works
- Send the details through the quote form or call (08) 9527 1499 — photos of the space and any existing equipment help.
- We confirm what we need to know and arrange a site assessment where the job requires one.
- You receive a written quote listing equipment, scope, inclusions and exclusions.
- Once approved, installation is scheduled and regulated work is undertaken by appropriately licensed trades.
Regulated installation and service work is undertaken by appropriately licensed trades.
Frequently asked questions
Should I choose split or ducted air conditioning?
+
Split systems suit homes where only a few rooms need conditioning, or where there is no practical roof-space access. Ducted suits whole-of-home comfort with discreet outlets and zoning, provided there is adequate roof space and return-air positioning. Multi-split sits between the two. We explain the trade-offs in running cost, upfront cost, noise and appearance for your specific layout.
Can you replace my existing air conditioner?
+
Yes. Replacement is not always like-for-like. We check whether the existing pipework, drainage, electrical supply and mounting positions can be reused, and whether the original capacity was right in the first place. Older systems using superseded refrigerants generally need a full changeover rather than a partial swap.
